Alongside writing partner David Weddle, Thompson contributed scripts that often explored complex moral dilemmas and character-driven plots, adding layers to the franchise’s universe that longtime fans appreciate. Their episodes tend to balance action with thoughtful exploration of themes like loyalty and redemption, helping to deepen the emotional stakes in a franchise sometimes known for its futuristic concepts.
