Daniel Kash
Daniel Kash brings a grounded intensity to his roles, making even brief appearances linger in the memory. In Star Trek: Discovery’s two-part episode Terra Firma, he steps into the shoes of Captain Devinaz, a character whose calm authority offers a compelling counterpoint to the series’ more unpredictable elements. Kash’s flair for inhabiting complex supporting roles landed him parts in films like The Assassination of Jesse James by the Coward Robert Ford and The Round Up, where his performances add subtle layers without overshadowing the narrative. Though often cast in supporting roles, his ability to convey quiet menace or understated warmth enriches the projects he joins. Directors like Andrew Dominik have tapped into his skill for nuanced character work, creating moments that stick with viewers long after the screen fades. Star Trek fans will appreciate how Kash’s presence in Terra Firma adds depth to the wider storytelling world of the franchise.
