Jeanne Bal
Jeanne Bal made a memorable mark on Star Trek as Nancy Crater in the series’ very first episode, The Man Trap. Her portrayal comes early in the original show’s voyage, interacting with Captain Kirk and the crew of the USS Enterprise as they encounter the shape-shifting creature haunting the planet M-113. Though her time on Star Trek screens was brief, Bal’s performance helped set the tone for the blend of mystery and science fiction that defines the series.
