Jadzia Dax faces extradition when the station receives charges accusing her of a murder committed by Curzon Dax, one of her symbiont’s previous hosts. As the hearing on Deep Space Nine begins, the crew must confront whether Jadzia can be held accountable for actions taken in a past life, testing legal and personal boundaries within the Federation’s justice system. Benjamin Sisko and others are drawn into the dispute as tensions rise over the unique nature of the Trill symbiont and its implications.
