To resolve the situation, the Wadi offer to settle the dispute by involving Quark and several station crew members in a mysterious and challenging game. Commander Sisko, Major Kira, Dr. Bashir, and others become participants as the nature of the game and its rules create a tense and unusual predicament aboard the station.
