Star Trek: Deep Space Nine S01E13 “The Storyteller”
When Miles O’Brien and Julian Bashir beam down to a remote Bajoran village, the locals immediately name O’Brien their new Sirah, a leader believed to protect them from a lurking menace. As O’Brien grapples with the villagers’ expectations and superstitions, he must navigate the tension between their traditional beliefs and the reality behind the threat they fear. Meanwhile, the situation challenges O’Brien and Bashir to find a way to help the community while addressing the danger that endangers the village.
