Star Trek: Deep Space Nine S02E21 “The Maquis (2)”
Captain Benjamin Sisko seeks to ease tensions between the Federation and the Maquis, a group of Federation colonists turned insurgents, by negotiating a fragile peace. As he works to prevent open conflict, Sisko frees Bajoran leader Gul Dukat to assist in diplomacy and offers Calvin Hudson, a defector to the Maquis, a chance to return to the Federation. Meanwhile, the fragile situation remains volatile along the Demilitarized Zone near the Cardassian border, with Starfleet and Maquis forces preparing for possible hostilities.
