When Captain Archer and the crew of Enterprise study a massive comet on the edge of explored space, their mission is complicated by the sudden arrival of a Vulcan starship led by T’Pol. As the Vulcans challenge the probe’s presence and methods, tensions rise aboard both vessels, forcing Archer to navigate diplomatic and scientific challenges while dealing with crew dynamics in the frozen expanse near the comet.
