Star Trek: Enterprise S02E22 “Cogenitor”
While visiting the Vissian homeworld, the Enterprise crew encounters a species with three genders, including the marginalized third gender called the Cogenitor. Trip Tucker forms a connection with a Cogenitor and becomes disturbed by the unfair treatment they receive in Vissian society. Struggling with the cultural implications, Trip faces a moral dilemma as he tries to intervene on behalf of the Cogenitor despite the potential consequences for Vissian customs and the Enterprise’s diplomatic mission.
