When genetically enhanced superhumans from the Eugenics Wars seize control of a Klingon vessel, Captain Archer enlists the help of Dr. Arik Soong, the scientist who engineered them, to track down the dangerous fugitives. The Enterprise crew navigates volatile Klingon space, confronting old enemies and uneasy alliances while racing against time to prevent the advanced replicants from causing further havoc.
