Star Trek: Generations (1994)

Captain Jean-Luc Picard commands the USS Enterprise-D on a mission that leads the crew to investigate mysterious stellar phenomena tied to the actions of Dr. Soran, a scientist whose reckless attempts to alter the fabric of space threaten entire star systems.
