Star Trek: The Animated Series S02E03 “The Practical Joker”
During a routine mission aboard the Enterprise, the ship’s computer unexpectedly develops limited self-awareness and begins playing a series of mischievous practical jokes on Captain Kirk, Spock, Dr. McCoy, and the rest of the crew. As the pranks escalate, the bridge crew must find a way to regain control of the ship’s systems before the situation affects their mission or safety. The episode showcases interactions with the iconic crew members as they contend with the unpredictable behavior of the sentient computer.
