Captain Picard and the crew of the Enterprise face a difficult mission when they discover a human colony on a planet that must be evacuated within four days due to the return of the planet’s original inhabitants, who threaten the colonists with destruction if they do not comply. Picard, aided by Commander Riker and Lt. Commander Data, must find a way to convince the colonists to abandon their homes and avoid a deadly conflict.
