As the Enterprise, under Captain Kirk’s command, approaches the edge of the Galaxy, the crew encounters a mysterious Force Field that enhances the latent psionic abilities of one of their own. With Spock, Dr. McCoy, Scotty, and Sulu by his side, Kirk must face the challenges posed by this newfound power and prevent it from endangering the entire ship and crew.
