Star Trek: The Original Series S01E13 “The Conscience of the King”
Captain Kirk is alerted by a witness who believes the notorious mass murderer Kodos the Executioner is hiding among a traveling theater troupe. Kirk investigates the possibility that Kodos has assumed the identity of Anton Karidian, the troupe’s leader, while aboard the USS Enterprise. As Kirk navigates this tense situation, he encounters various members of the acting company, including Karidian’s wife Lenore, while Spock and the crew assist with the investigation. The episode centers on uncovering whether the criminal past can be concealed behind a new persona.
