Star Trek: The Original Series S02E05 “The Apple”
The Enterprise crew, led by Captain Kirk, explores a seemingly idyllic planet where the native inhabitants live under the control of a powerful computer named Vaal. The planet’s environment appears tranquil and untouched, but Spock and Dr. McCoy soon notice the inhabitants’ unusual behavior and strict adherence to Vaal’s rules. Kirk and the team must navigate the challenges posed by this advanced yet controlling technology while interacting with the native tribe and uncovering the true nature of their existence on the planet.
