Star Trek: The Original Series S03E08 “For the World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky”
The USS Enterprise, led by Captain Kirk, races to prevent an asteroid from striking a Federation planet but soon realizes the asteroid is actually a vast, ancient vessel housing a civilization unaware of its true nature. Spock, Dr. McCoy, and the crew encounter a society living under rigid control aboard the generation ship, where beliefs and traditions mask the ship’s purpose. As they explore the mysterious environment, the Enterprise crew must navigate the challenges of interacting with the inhabitants while addressing the threat to the nearby Federation world.
