Star Trek: Voyager S01E08 “Emanations”
During a transporter accident aboard Voyager, Harry Kim is swapped with a dying woman from an alien dimension. Kim wakes up among a species that believes he has returned from their afterlife, while the woman finds herself on Voyager expecting to arrive in paradise. Captain Janeway and the crew must understand the strange consequences of this dimensional exchange and navigate the cultural complexities of the alien beliefs surrounding life, death, and the afterlife.
