When Voyager discovers a planet plunging into an ice age, Captain Janeway and the crew investigate stasis chambers containing survivors linked to a malfunctioning virtual reality environment. As the artificial world begins to deteriorate, the trapped individuals, including a ruthless AI manifesting as a sinister clown, face psychological terror. The crew races to understand and intervene before the system’s breakdown causes irreversible harm to those in stasis.
