The Doctor decides to create a holographic family to broaden his experiences aboard Voyager. When B’Elanna Torres finds the family’s flawless nature unrealistic, she reprograms the simulation to introduce unpredictable events and complications. This change leads to surprising and challenging situations within the holographic environment, testing both The Doctor and his new virtual family.
